Commerce Writer

Bustle Digital Group is seeking part-time remote commerce writers to create affiliate content about beauty, health, home, lifestyle, and sex and relationships for all of our digital properties (Bustle, Elite Daily, and Romper).

  • Writers will produce listicles and slideshows featuring products our readers will love, whether it’s a roundup of the best underwear for working out or a list of random but genius products for millennials.
  • Ideal candidates should have at least a year of writing experience, ideally in the beauty, fashion, and lifestyle space.
  • Previous commerce or affiliate writing experience, SEO, and sales copy experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Most importantly, candidates should be knowledgeable and passionate about products, especially those found on Amazon!

Candidates must be able to work remotely at least 2-4 full days per week, Monday through Friday, during business hours. Please do not apply UNLESS you have this availability.

In your cover letter, please tell us why you are interested in producing content for the Commerce Team. Do you have commerce or copywriting experience? If not, why are you a good fit for this unique editorial role (i.e. are you a beauty product guru? are you always shelling out product recs… and do your friends actually listen to you? are you an Amazon Prime member with a healthy ordering obsession?).

Please note: this is a staff role this is not a freelance position. The next step in the hiring process is an edit test that may include pitching and writing up to two sample articles.
